Ordering Cold Spring Ranch Beef Our beef is currently available in a number of different packages, each designed to fit different lifestyles. To make an order please email or call. Small Quantities Our small quantities of beef are designed to better suit the light beef eater or smaller families, or those who do not have storage space for large quantities of meat at one time. Our smallest quantity sold is a 25 lb box. This box will be made up of approximately 1/3 steak (9 lbs), 1/3 roasts (8 lbs) and 1/3 hamburger (8 lbs). We usually cut our steak about 1 1/2 inches thick, so a 25 lb box will have 6 to 8 steaks, 2 to 3 roasts, and the hamburger will be in 1 lb packs. This amount of beef will usually fit into the freezer of a conventional refrigerator/freezer, with room to spare for your ice, peas and ice-cream. Larger Quantities For those interested in larger quantities of beef, we offer 50 lb and 100 lb boxes that are made up in the same proportions as the 25 lb box. Lastly, for those who prefer to have their beef custom cut, we sell entire half sides of beef. |

Information about Ordering:
We try to make beef available year round, but we recommend you place an order as soon as you are interested. At different times of the year we may sell out, and have to start wait lists for beef. Please call or email for specific pricing. Our boxes of beef can include the following cuts of steak: filets, rib eyes, t-bones, porterhouses, NY sirloins, tip steaks, London broils, hangers, flank steaks, and others. We can email you the entire list of all the cuts we provide. All of our beef is frozen for pick up and/or delivery. We try to deliver beef to a central location in Portland once a month, and encourage pick-ups at the Ranch. We are not able to accept credit cards, but take payments in check or cash. All of our beef is processed under USDA inspection at Luce's Meats near by in North Anson, Maine. Each cut of meat is cryovacked individually with our label (see above), and will have the cut name on the label, as well as the date it was processed. For questions or orders please call or email.
