Cold Spring Ranch

Grass Fed Beef

(Above) Spring is here at Cold Spring Ranch; the cattle are out on grass and loving the change in weather.

(Below) This year at Cold Spring Ranch we will be finishing over 60 head of 100% grass fed and finished cattle.  The grass this spring is lush, and we look forward to our best year yet.

(Left) Just as in the past, the cattle at Cold Spring Ranch are Angus-based in their breeding.  This year's herd seems to be particularly curious about what I am up to. They have been watching me closely as I go about my spring chores.

(Below) We work hard preparing the pastures for the cattle.  Blue (on the left) and I spend our fair share of days out fixing fence.

(Above) The cattle seem to enjoy the view.  On a crisp spring morning there is nothing like looking out over Gilman Pond and up towards Flagstaff Lake.

Here are a few more pictures of cattle and our preparations for the spring.
(below) My father seems to like traveling to Cold Spring Ranch in the spring for any tractor work there is to do.  Here we are spreading manure to enrich the fields and recycle nutrients.
